If you live in Tahoe or Northern Nevada Channels AV and it’s owner John Sien is your absolute best choice for AV and high end audio. They have been there for me for over a decade, fully wiring and setting up my incredible home theatre at very reasonable prices, and they are always there in an instant when I have had the occasional hiccups. Every time I get a case of upgradeitis, they have a solution, from the amazing Magnepans I bought to the incredible Hegel amp (which they started carrying just because I asked about it!) to the spectacular Sony 85” TV they gave me a great deal on. They seem way more interested in customer satisfaction than they do in making a big profit. Just this past Saturday, I had my home network go down (user error!) and some of my equipment lost their remote settings. I texted Kenneth and Eric and 10 minutes later my problems were solved! It is difficult to find a place to actually hear speakers in Reno. If you are an audiophile look no further. John can explain the history of each manufacturer and what unique technologies each brings to the table. He knows or has met many of the top audio system designers and engineers so you are close to the source. I almost didn't get past the entry level Paradigms which crushed my system. I walked in and was extremely pleased with the demeanor and professionalism. John not only cleared out the muddy waters on my mind, but took time to run me through the Calibration process AND explaining the details so effortlessly. After he was done calibrating it was a joy to hear the Music and Movies.Verified I had John calibrate my Panasonic ZT60 65 inch plasma and just couldn't be happier. I had the full service done and the picture is just as good as it can be. Much different experience than pre calibration. Colors perfect, rich deep vibrant. John has high equipment and the background and knowledge to apply that to the service.. I couldn't be happier with the result. Well worth the cost in my humble opinion...
